I think there was a sense of guilt within him too. Felix is someone who always really took on the burden of anything that he perceived as failure or a lack of judgement in his part. He fully took the brunt of all that and was never someone who’d shake something off easily. So all of the death on New Caprica, the innocent people that he felt like he could have done more to save… I think the weight of all of those people was on his shoulders in that moment too and he was like: “Alright, if you’re going to kill me, go ahead!” I think, he was already on his knees, he wasn’t get down any lower and grovel for his life.
